2.3.1. Some selected data
Electrochemical methods, and especially methods developed in the laboratory using Labview software, allows to analyze traces of fission products present in environmental water solutions. This is, for instance, the application of modified cathodic stripping voltammetry (ref. 2.3.2) for selenium present at extremely low concentration. Detection limits of 1.2 10-11 M of selenium were achieved and signals for concentrations from 1.5 10-10 to 2 10-11 M are presented in Fig 2.3.1.
